Halo: Combat Evolved Beta Coming October 4th

With a November release window for the game, Halo fans will be getting a title update for Halo: Reach, and with that, Microsoft will be adding a matchmaking beta playlist to the game for all Xbox Live gold members that own Bungie's final offering to the Halo universe. 343 recently unveiled one of the classic maps for the Halo: CE multiplayer. The fan favorite from Halo 2, Headlong has a load of newly remastered screenshots which can be found here. The Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary Edition arrives on November 15th with a remastered original Halo: CE campaign and reworked versions of classic Halo multiplayer playlists. So is this a beta for Halo 4 that's coming soon?
or just straight up beta ???

This is supposedly a multiplayer beta for the game Halo: Combat Evolved, which is a remake of the old Halo: Combat Evolved which was released about 10 years ago, which started Halo. This is a completely different game, than Halo 4. Halo 4 is going to be released later than Halo: Combat Evolved, we have been told that Halo 4's release is around, holiday 2012.

had no idea , but i'm also not your biggest halo fan but i like to
play it and mod the heck out of it but don't we all lol.
Also ill have to get this now before i get halo 4 so i can stay
up to date with halo.

Haha I know what you mean even USB mods on that game are so much fun, with a JTAG you can have a whole day messing around and still enjoy the Halo series!
