________
5. Q. Are JTAG's Legal?
A. Yes and No, basically a JTAG is an xbox running a modified version of the Xbox 360 software. Which is illegal cause of billions of patents and DMCA. It is illegal to modify the software. In the aspect it is illegal. Although the brighter context of "illegal" comes into play when selling one, because your basically selling a modified version of the Xbox 360 firmware. Everytime, you host a lobby, or play your emulator, your in a way "breaking the law". But the worst microsoft can do is ban your console (when hosting) or send you a Cease and Desist letter if your selling them by the masses. To sum it up there is a still a bunch of gray area, but the chances of getting thrown in jail or being fined are still there but very low. As long as you follow "most" of their legal order you should be fine.
